Meet the woman whose life began in her fifties.  Starting to ski by chance at 51 opened doors to a  new career in journalism. This, in turn, led to lecturing on cruise liners and then to motivational talks. There is always something new to see, somewhere new to visit.

Becoming the world's first woman to ski every continent, including Antarctica, led to an entry in the 1996 Guinness Book of Records and also to election as a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.
